Friday Favorites

I have always loved when bloggers and Instagrammers share their favorite things because I find new products I didn’t know about before! Sadly, most of these products are WAY over budget. Like who has $100 to spend on a shirt? Not this girl. So, I thought it might be fun to put together some of my favorite things that are within the budget and worth every penny.

➕ The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey #226

Y'all. This episode of The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey podcast had me in tears in my kitchen this week. Lysa Terkeurst is one of my favorite Christian authors and was huge in the beginning stages of my walk with Christ. She has gone through marital trauma and a horrible bout with cancer in the last two years, and to hear her talk about how even in the darkest moments of her life, she knew God would bring redemption. If you need a new podcast or an episode to listen to today, check this one out for sure!

➕ Betsy Bosom's Baby Book: A Girlfriend's Guide to Using Essential Oils from Bellies to Babies

I started reading this book this week and it is incredible! There is so much misinformation out there about using oils when you're pregnant or on your babies, so I wanted to start REALLY educating myself on how all of this works. If you're pregnant, a new mom, know someone who is pregnant, or if you're just into babies, this is a great resource for you to have so you can be confident using oils during pregnancy and on babies.

➕ Aerie Oversized Chenille Turtleneck

This sweater has been off my body maybe 3 times since I got it for Christmas. Kidding. But really, it's my favorite. I have it in cream too! I got an extra extra extra big size because I'm pregnant but I would consider sizing down if you're looking for a good oversized sweater to wear with leggings. Also, Aerie is just amazing for all the things. So don't forget about this little treasure when you're shopping!

➕ Satin Facial Scrub

Holy crap, this scrub is amazing. If you're been looking for an exfoliating facial product that doesn't leave your skin dry and itchy... this is the one you need to try! It's back in stock after being gone for so long so don't wait. Grab yours today through Quick Order on the Young Living site. I use mine 3x per week and it's lasted me about 6 months so far.

➕ All Natural Eyelash Serum - DIY

The hype over eyelashes is real. I've been contemplating getting mine done, but I think I'm going to try this serum first because I saw some before and afters from a friend and IT ACTUALLY WORKS.

Here's everything you need to make your own:

- empty mascara tube + wand
- organic pure castor oil
- lavender essential oil
- cedarwood essential oil
- rosemary essential oil

- 2 tablespoons castor oil
- 3 drops lavender essential oil
- 3 drops cedarwood essential oil
- 3 drops rosemary essential oil

Apply it every night before bed and watch those lashes GROW!

How fun was that?! I'd love to know some of your favorite things!
